Who We Are?

The Indian Red Cross Society was incorporated under parliament Act XV of 1920.The Hon'ble President of India is the President of the India Red Cross Society.

The Hon'ble Chief Minister announced the formation of 26 districts in Andhra Pradesh State on April 4,2022.The Indian Red Cross Scoiety runs 26 district branches,i.e.,Srikakulam,vizianagaram,Visakhapatnam,East Godavari,West Godavari,Krishna,Guntur,Prakasam,SPSR Nellore,Chittor,Ananthapuram, YSR kadapa,Kurnool,Dr.B.R.Ambedkar konaseema,NTR,Palnadu,Bapatla,Nandyala,Alluri sitharama Raju,Kakinada,Eluru,Tirupati,Parvatipuram Manyam,Anakapalli,Sri Sathya Sai, and Annamayya districts.
It has 171 Sub-Brach.The District collector is the president of the District Branch and the Mandal Revenue Officer/Tasildar is the president of the District Sub-Brach.
The IRCS functions as an auxiliary to government programmes.
